Gameday Operations
During my junior year, I was brought on by the Bulls as a Gameday Operations intern. My role consisted primarily of helping with set up and teardown of the merchandise stand and lending a hand to the rest of the operations staff. I very quickly found my rhythm and learned the routines of gameday and how I could best help. Towards the end of the season, I had earned the staff's trust and was given the opportunity to lead when my boss was forced to have an emergency surgery. For the two nights that he missed, I filled in his role and directed all merchandise set up and tear down, on-ice promotions, and our "Ultimate Fan Experience Tour."
Church Night Director
During the same year I served as a Gameday Ops intern, I was asked to come onto the front office staff as an account executive whose objective was to contact churches for our Church Night promotional game. The spring Church Night game ended up being our second-largest group night of the season, selling over $11,000 worth of group tickets.

This year, I was brought back on for a professional sales internship. However, I was promoted to Church Night Director and Sr. Account Executive this semester after last year's results. In addition to being in charge of our Church Nights this year, I have also taken on the responsibility of conducting a project to analyze revenue trends from the previous two seasons and provide generalized recommendations for sponsor pitches and theme night scheduling.

Social Media Internship
In September of 2024, I was brought onto the Birmingham Sports social media team. I have had the opportunity to learn and see the behind-the-scenes of what it looks like to run a sports media page. Listed below are just a few of the things I have had the opportunity to do thus far:
- Conduct research of Birmingham's rich sports history
- Create and organize a content calendar with posts scheduled up to months in advance
- Write blog articles for various local Birmingham Sports teams
- Develop e-commerce marketing campaign for existing and new merchandise
- Create database for fan interactions and submissions through social media
As the internship continues, I will have the opportunity to interview various sports figures in the community and highlight some of the amazing stories happening all across Birmingham. Not only will I develop my skills as a marketer but I will also get to connect athletes to the community and help give back to the great city of Birmingham through sports.
